At the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Equality, since last April 6 small groups of interested people have been visiting the Maltravieso cave from the hand of the technicians of the Junta de Extremadura.

In total, during the first month of validity of this experience, 40 people, in groups of four, have already gone through the oldest rock art site in the world, as part of a temporary and experimental project aimed at checking the evolution of the microbiological, temperature and humidity parameters inside the cavity to determine the eventual sustainability of human presence in it.

To register, interested persons must fill out and send the digital questionnaire that is activated on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:15 a.m. in this link.

After studying History at the University and after many previous tests, Red Historia was born, a project that emerged as a means of dissemination where you can find the most important news of archeology, history and humanities, as well as articles of interest, curiosities and much more. In short, a meeting point for everyone where they can share information and continue learning.
