Russian authorities have reported the discovery of a rare coin from the Bosphorus kingdom, during excavations in the Kuban region.

This golden coin, minted between 27 and 28 AD., circulated in the territory of the Bosphorus kingdom, which included the regions of eastern Crimea, the Taman peninsula, Anapa, Novorossiysk, the lower Kuban region, the eastern Azov region and the Don Delta.

It is considered that this coin is among the rarest as only two other examples are known.

After studying History at the University and after many previous tests, Red Historia was born, a project that emerged as a means of dissemination where you can find the most important news of archeology, history and humanities, as well as articles of interest, curiosities and much more. In short, a meeting point for everyone where they can share information and continue learning.
