Discovered in the Patagonian region of Argentina, the Andesaurus closely resembles Camarasaurus.
It belongs to the genus of titanosaurs that existed in the Cretaceous period in South America. like Argentinosaurus and Puertasaurus.
As the most sauropods, it would have had a small head at the end of a long neck, with an equally very long tail, being an extraordinarily large animal like many of its relatives, which included some of the largest animals that inhabited the Earth.
Their size has been determined by the size of their distinctive posterior vertebrae and are almost 6 meters tall.
